Our goal at Family Art Photo is a relaxed and enjoyable experience resulting in photos you want to be hanging on your wall for decades to come; not just a season.  Our style is classic with a modern edge and will stand the test of time and passing fads.

Your photo session will take place in our downtown Anchorage studio and/or on location.  Also available at the studio is a landscaped backyard that creates outdoor photos with ease for families, seniors or professionals wanting both.

What are your studio hours?
Available by appointment only, and work whenever is best lighting and time to capture the images we are designing for your home.

What is our investment to commission Family Art Photo for custom portraits?
The session fee is $225 whether at our studio or on location.  The session fee includes a pre-session consultation, the time and talent of the photographer, and a private screening of the finished images from your session.  The session fee is required at the time of booking to reserve your date & time. A typical investment from a family session is $1250 - $2500.

How and when do we see the images from our portrait session?  
At your portrait session we will schedule your presentation and ordering appointment for approximately two weeks after your session.  The finished images from your session will be presented in a slideshow format set to music on a 75" projection screen.  At this time, you will be making decisions on which images and sizes to order so it's very important that all decisions makers be present at this screening.  

This time has been set aside specifically for you and we allow ample time for viewing and ordering.  This private screening is included in the session fee and we ask that your ordering decisions are made at this time.  Please allow for 1-2 hours as we do not want your decisions to feel rushed.

How many images will we see?
We carefully select only the "best of the best" from your session.  From there, each image is individually edited, artistically retouched, and prepared to hang on your wall.  Due to the time involved in this process, we do not want to show every image taken from your session.  This also is a great help in your decision making process.
